When I look into your eyes
I can see a love restrained
But darlin' when I hold you
Don't you know I feel the same
'Cause nothin' lasts forever
And we both know hearts can change
And it's hard to hold a candle
In the cold November rain

A friend told me he can see air. I believe him. I can picture the air that he sees. Ether. Quintessence. The fifth element that permeates the entire Universe like a dense fog. I can see particles as they float in the air, the twirls, the swirls, and the triple somersaults. I might even venture to think of it as the pulsating blue essence emanating from the holy relics of the almighty Buddha in the movie Warriors of Heaven and Earth. Hm. Green Tea.
Why not? If I see naked people sometimes. Not that they're naked in reality, they're fully clothed, yet I see them stark in their birthday suits. Not that I'm fantasizing too. It happens outta the blue, and takes me completely off guard. It's like, whoah! And it doesn't happen when I'm looking at them directly. I see things with my side vision. I see flesh, raw, red in tooth and claw. I did. I really did. I still do. Sometimes.
